3rd birthday cake

This cake was for my oldest son's 3rd birthday. The pirate ship is florist's foam that I carved and then covered in fondant. The trees are made of gumpaste.

1st birthday cake

This was my youngest son's first birthday cake. I went with a jungle theme and made a giraffe, monkeys and an elephant out of gumpaste. The palm trees are also out of gumpaste. The gumpaste dries rock hard, so the figures can be kept for however long you want.

This cake was for a small bridal shower. The wedding colors were red and gold and they asked me to incorporate that into the cake. They were looking for something simple, but elegant.

I made this cake for a friend's baby shower. The design of the cake was based on the decorations that she chose for the nursery.
